Gold Mine & Glow Worm Cave

We were pretty settled into the hotel when I read at the end of the hotel brochure under
"Features include:
22 luxurious units...
Scenic bush walk
Gold mine & glow worm cave"
So we pulled on the complimentary rubber wading boots and set out to explore the cave
The mud floor wasn't too daunting to begin with...
But after a while it was pretty horrifying...
This isn't too bad. We should venture further!
I'm stuck in this stuff!
How many accommodations have you had that provide wading boots? This is New Zealand, mate!
OK honey. I love you, but this is as far as I go.
Return trip
We are out! We didn't see any glow,worms, but it was an excellent adventure :)
Time to head back to the hotel for mud removal
But not before some "we were there" photos :)
