Our flight landed around 3:30pm
Maori greetings welcomed us to New Zealand at the airport terminal
We are house swapping here with Anne and John Fleming. Sarah, their daughter, kindly picked us up at the airport. She saw our photos in the blog and was on the lookout for two tall Americans. She easily found us :)
When we arrived there were flowers in the kitchen, fresh pasta for dinner in the refrigerator and an American flag flying on the balcony :)
What a nice welcome!
Sarah showed us around the townhouse and provided a book that had all the information we would need, from how to operate the washing machine to maps to the local grocery store.
It was a long day traveling, so we were happy to be in for the night.
We opened a bottle of wine from the refrigerator and called it a day.
We are in New Zealand! Wooohoooo!!!
