Coromandel Town, New Zealand
I was tickled when I saw Pig Tucker. Tucker is food in Kiwi. I really enjoy listening to people talk here. It's a very colorful language :)
Driving to the end of the pier at low tide, and it was very, very low. Some docked boats were sitting on the bottom.
Stopped at the Star and Garter Tavern and had a lesson on the history of the town from the owner. The walls of the tavern are wallpapered in historic photos.
Russ asked "how many drapes did gold miners need?" Karen, the owner, replied "A drapery was a haberdashery, they sold clothes." That was hysterical!
The son of our motel owner has some great toys!
Sunset from our front porch. Ahhhhhhhhh :)
