McLaren Vale
We arrived about 2:00pm, met our wonderful hosts and checked in.
Villa Grenache is a beautiful little B&B with a front yard of roses, side yard of citris trees and a big back yard of Grenache vines...also known as a vineyard :)
We chatted with our hosts and set off for the vineyards.
Following our afternoon visiting vineyards, we settled into the back yard for a pic-nic dinner cheese, crackers, oranges and a roasted chicken from the market.
Russ is a happy boy! A beautiful evening overlooking the vineyard with his loving wife, the local newspaper and a great bottle of wine :)

Now this is how I'd like to wake up every morning! Who can beat a chalk board breakfast menu and the table set complete with fragrant fresh roses???
We both ordered "The Lot, minus the beans and sausage". Yum, yum!
After a hearty breakfast we are off to explore the area around McLaren Vale.
