The goal for today is to work out our bank card, wi-fi and cell phone.
We started at the ANZ Bank. Russ was told the manager was on holiday and no one could help him, since they did not issue travel cards in New Zealand. Russ went to the ATM, reset the password and checked the balance. Later on in the day, we tried to use the card and the merchant said to choose credit not savings like we did in Australia. It worked! That's one down and two to go.
We went to the Vodafone store in a different mall. It's always a long wait at cell phone stores. Anyway, the young lady that assisted us was great and we got all our questions answered. Two down, one to go.
Russ emailed Anne & John about the difficulty we were having using their notebook computer with the 2 degrees stick... All Russ's information on his iPad is stored "in the cloud" so he can't access it without wi-fi. They emailed back that their daughter, Jacqui, had a Vodaphone Mobile Wi-Fi And they'd ask her to drop it off. Woohoo. We are making progress!
Laundry and trying to catch up on the blog completed the day.
