Sydney, Australia
We left Denpasar airport in Bali at 10:10 pm Wednesday night and arrived in Sydney, Australia 6:10 am on Thursday. We had a great shuttle driver, Neil, who brought us to the Travelodge and supplied a running commentary on everything Australian.
We were pretty much exhausted, but managed to complete a bunch of errands: bank, grocery store, Vodafone for a cell phone chip and a bookstore to pick up an Australian guide book.
There is no need to include photos of the Travelodge. It is clean and inexpensive for Sydney (which is comparable to NY, NY prices) and that about covers it. It's quite a change from our last place, AYANA Resort in Bali...but we must try to keep to some sort of budget :)
No more cheap hotels for Uncle Russ?!? Will he survive?!? BOL
ReplyDeleteOoooh, I just looked at the Ayana Resort photos. That was a brilliant place. Brilliant is my new Aussie word for the day :)
