Departing Hawkesbury (outside of Windsor), Australia
We got an early start,
departing our Race Club Motel
after taking a few blury photos of the jockeys exercising the horses.
I just have to include one of yesterday's "horse in a blanket" photos :)
I must say that our bathtub/shower in the motel was sparkling clean! If I didn't take the photo at an angle you could not even see the glass it was so clean :)
The drive to Sydney was quick and easy. The trouble started upon arrival in the city. It took us 2 1/2 hours to drop our bags at the hotel and return our rental car at 9:30 am, just on the nick of time. The traffic is crazy! I'm so glad we 1st experienced Sydney on foot, otherwise I really wouldn't like this place. As it turns out, it's one of my favorite cities!
