Sandringham to Melbourne and Back
The public transportation is awesome. It was a very comfortable 30 minute train trip from Sandringham into Melbourne. All the commuter trains run right on time :)
We bought two AU $3 plastic cards called "myki" and loaded mine with AU $12.40 which was enough to go to Melbourne and back.
As a senior Russ gets 1/2 price :)
Then you tap the card to enter and exit "Tap on, tap off".
The Flinders Street Station is a beautiful building, but this is not a beautiful day so I'll take more photos on a prettier day.
