I took the opportunity to pet and photograph a LOT of sheep before the show.
I was surprised when the young man who brought the sheep in said "woah" for them to stop, like a cowboy movie :)
Truffles is a champion sheep. She was led thru the crowd so everyone could pet her. It's a tough job, but some sheep has to do it.
They demonstrated two methods of shearing. On right, shears called "blades" were used. That's the old fashioned method. On the left they used electric shears.

Almost done....the fat wooly sheep looks naked now!
