In 2003 Federation Square was awarded the eminent Victoria Architecture Medal by the Royal Australian Institute of Architects, and trust me, it wasn't for the adorable giraffe shown here.

                                                          

I've posted photos taken over two visits (one weekend and one weekday) and I know I will shoot more.  I had an opinion instantly when I first saw the square, but I won't share it now.  I'll let you form your own opinion and I'll keep thinking about mine.
