ML's Birthday Dinner

My 54th Birthday Dinner

I chose the best steakhouse in Australia - home!  


Red sparkling wine that we purchased at the Stonehurst winery in the Hunter Valley, called Spritzig, was a wonderful treat.  


Russ grilled big ribeye steaks, my favorite, on the barbie.


The vegetable was fresh baby spinach with garlic and mushrooms, another of my favorites!  
Plus a big beautiful green salad  - yum, yum!


A special occasion calls for a special room.  We ate in the beautiful dining room.


Now that's a steak!!!  And it is cooked to medium rare perfection :)  Russ has mastered the grille!



The special cap on the wine proved to be difficult, so we saved the sparkling wine for dessert.  
Russ served an Australian Shiraz with the meal.


One happy birthday girl!


Lindor truffles, mmmmm, chocolate and sparkling wine for dessert.  The perfect meal for the perfect birthday.  Thank you hubbie!!!
