Erskine Waterfall

We set out early to see the falls.

The falls were beautiful.  This a view from an upper observation area.

It was cold out, but a couple told us not o dress too heavily because we'd be sweating on the way back

We felt like we were back in Bali - land of a million stairs

The hike up and back was just as beautiful as the falls

Just amazing!

I was totally enamored with the ferns.  Russ is over 6' and the ferns towered over him.

The sunlight shining thru the ferns was spectacular!

We decided to forgo the second falls.  The rocks were incredibly slippery.

More ferns...I took quite a few fern photos.  Some of them reminded me of the rain forest on Pohnpei.  When you look into the Forest, some of the ferns look like leprechauns :)
