Big Bees on Bali

We have extended our stay at Villa Puriartha by one day.   We love it here!

I told my sister I saw a hummingbird yesterday, but today realized it ws a bee.  They are HUGE.


   I went out at 6:30 am and spent an hour photographing bees with lots of blurry results.
   These are the best of the bunch.


   Maybe they aren't bees, but they do gather nectar from flowers.




   As usual, I am taking shots of bottoms, big bee butts :)

    LoL!! Those are indeed, 'big bee butts'! Reminds me of the bumble bees I saw in the Bronx Botanical Gardens, but these above seem to have darker markings.
